Just under 2 years of service from this big guy. Now it will not broadcast a wifi signal, and with the 1 year warranty, i guess it is trash... This unit was ALWAYS installed on a surge protected battery backup, but that does not seem to be enough to keep it from getting zapped in a storm... funny thing is that the cable modem was completly fine and all of the other routers (GT-6's but they were not wired directly to ethernet as this one was). I see that new equipment from Asus carries a 3-year warranty, but this only has a 1-year

This router is or pretty close to the best you can get when it comes to networking and overall features and functionality on your network. The 16000 or "The Spider" is slinging close to a gigabit over wifi and it allows us to use the 10 gig ports which was a huge plus. I had the older version of this model which was the AXE11000 and it's now a node attached to the network and those two together make a fantastic mesh system. Now everyone is happy.

great router, with the recent price drop this is a better router to purchase than the wifi 7 version.

Habe den Router erhalten, auf die neuste Software aktualisiert und danach WireGuard aktiviert damit ich Geräte in meinem Netzwerk direkt auf meine ProtonVPN Subscription anbinden kann... Die Einrichtung hat eigentlich ohne Probleme funktioniert und beim klicken auf speichern hat sich der Router verabschiedet. War in einem restart loop gefangen. Habe versucht die Firmware zu restoren aber ohne Erfolg. Ergebnis... nach zwei Tagen zurück an Digitec. Mal schauen ob es einen neuen gibt. Dort werde ich genau das gleiche versuchen und schauen ob der Router wieder brickt.
