Der Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in der Größe 245/40R18 XL 97Y ist ein reiner Hochleistungs-Sommerreifen. Fahrer und Tests loben vor allem den außergewöhnlichen Grip und die kurzen Bremswege auf trockener Fahrbahn sowie das sehr hohe Sicherheitsniveau bei Nässe. Das Handling ist direkt und präzise, was ihn besonders für sportliche Fahrer und gelegentliche Trackdays attraktiv macht. Gleichzeitig wird häufig hervorgehoben, dass er für einen UHP-Reifen überraschend komfortabel und relativ leise ist und bei moderater Fahrweise eine ordentliche Laufleistung erreichen kann. Demgegenüber steht, dass der Reifen nicht für kalte Temperaturen oder Schnee gedacht ist; bei Kälte lässt der Grip spürbar nach und Wintereinsatz wird nicht empfohlen. Einige Nutzer berichten zudem von schnellerem Verschleiß an schweren oder stark motorisierten Fahrzeugen, und der Anschaffungspreis liegt über vielen konkurrierenden Sportreifen. Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
