Der Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in der Größe 255/40R18 XL 99Y ist ein sportlicher Sommerreifen mit sehr starken Leistungen auf nasser und trockener Fahrbahn. Tests und Erfahrungsberichte heben vor allem den hohen Grip und die kurzen Bremswege hervor, kombiniert mit einer sehr präzisen und stabilen Lenkansprache. Gleichzeitig ist der Reifen für eine relativ gute Laufleistung und eine offizielle Laufleistungsgarantie bekannt, was bei Ultra-High-Performance-Reifen eher selten ist. Demgegenüber steht ein deutlich höherer Preis als bei vielen Alternativen, und wie alle Sommerreifen ist er nicht für niedrige Temperaturen, Schnee oder Eis zugelassen. Bei sehr sportlicher Fahrweise kann der Verschleiß zudem schneller sein. Er eignet sich vor allem für Fahrer, die Fahrspaß und Sicherheit höher gewichten als einen niedrigen Kaufpreis.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
