Der Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 ist ein High-Performance-Winterreifen, der vor allem bei kaltem, trockenem und nassem Wetter glänzt. Tests und zahlreiche Nutzerberichte erwähnen sehr hohen Grip, kurze Bremswege und eine präzise Lenkansprache, sodass sich der Reifen im Winter fast wie ein Sommerreifen anfühlt. Auf nasser Fahrbahn und bei höherer Geschwindigkeit bleibt das Fahrzeug stabil und gut kontrollierbar, während Komfort und Geräuschniveau für diese sportliche Klasse auffallend gut sind. Im Schnee bietet der PA4 zuverlässige Traktion und Kontrolle, ist in tiefem Schnee jedoch schwächer als weichere, nicht-performance Winterreifen. Hauptnachteil ist der hohe Preis, der aber oft durch Leistung und Laufleistung gerechtfertigt wird. Der Reifen eignet sich besonders für Fahrer leistungsstarker Fahrzeuge, die sportliches und sicheres Fahrverhalten im Winter schätzen und bereit sind, dafür mehr auszugeben.

Très bonne tenue de route, assez silencieux, très bonne prise dans la neige et très pneus qui bonne tenue sur la glace, répond bien sur la route en hiver, dans les courbes et sur les arrêts. Je les recommande.

Great winter tires for a performance car (2026 VW GTI Autobahn). They are quiet, comfortable. The car handles lioke it was on rails on twisty mountain roads and Interstates. Excellent for snow and ice winter conditions and excellent when roads are dry or wet (unlike other winter tires).

I live in Calgary where winters have constant thawing and freezing cycles, making road conditions treacherous at times. These are very capable tires when new or slightly worn and have decent tread durability. At approximately 35,000 Kms with timely tire rotations and maintaining pressures regularly, they are now worn down evenly to 6/32nds of an inch remaining (approx. 50% worn). I was hoping to get another winter out of them, but I no longer feel safe driving on icy surfaces as they don`t grip nearly as well as they used to. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable, but I am a bit disappointed in their deterioration in traction, stability and performance at this stage.
