Der Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 in 245/30R20 XL 90Y ist ein Ultra-High-Performance-Sommerreifen für leistungsstarke Sportwagen und Performance-Limousinen. In Tests und Praxiserfahrungen wird vor allem die starke Nassperformance hervorgehoben: Der Reifen bietet viel Grip, kurze Bremswege und hohe Aquaplaning-Reserven dank ineinandergreifender Außenrillen und moderner Silica-Mischung. Die Lenkansprache ist sehr direkt und stabil, auch bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten, was bei dynamischer Fahrweise und schnellen Spurwechseln Vertrauen schafft. Für einen 20-Zoll-Sportreifen sind Komfort und Geräuschentwicklung überraschend gut; viele Fahrer empfinden den Reifen als relativ leise und ausreichend komfortabel, auch wenn es ein Niederquerschnittsreifen bleibt. Bremsleistungen auf nasser und trockener Fahrbahn werden häufig als Stärke genannt. Auf der Minusseite steht die klare Beschränkung auf den Sommerbetrieb ohne Winterkennzeichnung, womit er für Kälte und Schnee ungeeignet ist. Im Vergleich zu absoluten Premium-Topreifen für die Rennstrecke liegen Trockenhaftung und maximale Sportlichkeit etwas dahinter, was vor allem sehr ambitionierte Fahrer merken. Durch die sehr niedrige Flanke in dieser 20-Zoll-Größe reagiert der Reifen zudem empfindlicher auf schlechte Straßen und Schlaglöcher, sowohl beim Komfort als auch beim Felgenschutz. Für den alltäglichen Einsatz auf sportlichen Fahrzeugen bietet diese Dimension jedoch eine überzeugende Mischung aus Nasssicherheit, Präzision und noch akzeptablem Komfort.

Tysta och energieffektiva däck. Känns trygga på både våt och torr väg. Slitaget är för tidigt att uttala mig om men det verkar lovande. Bra pris på däcken också. Jag är nöjd.

The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
