Der Philips Elektrorasierer Serie 5000 ist beliebt für Komfort, Wasserdichtigkeit und glatte Rasurergebnisse dank präziser, selbstschärfender Klingen. Nass- und Trockenrasur sind möglich, der Akku hält bis zu 60 Minuten. Der ausklappbare Trimmer ist praktisch, aber nicht präzise für scharfe Linien. Für starken Bartwuchs weniger geeignet. Während des Ladens nicht nutzbar, das Ladekabel ist kurz. Insgesamt solide für den täglichen Gebrauch bei normalem Bartwuchs.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.
