Der Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5885/25 überzeugt durch ein sehr angenehmes Rasiererlebnis, auch bei empfindlicher Haut. Die flexiblen 360°-Scherköpfe passen sich den Gesichtskonturen gut an und sorgen für ein glattes Ergebnis. Der Akku hält lange und ist schnell aufgeladen, was im Alltag praktisch ist. Die Reinigung ist dank One-Touch-Funktion einfach. Die Rasur ist nass und trocken, sogar unter der Dusche, möglich. Nachteile sind der Trimmer, der nicht fest einrastet, der fehlende Netzbetrieb und dass kein Adapter, sondern nur ein USB-Kabel beiliegt. Insgesamt ein solides Mittelklassegerät mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, aber mit genannten Einschränkungen.
