Der Philips Shaver 1000 S1142/00 bietet eine zuverlässige, glatte Rasur dank PowerCut-Klingen und ist vollständig wasserdicht, was die Reinigung erleichtert. Der ergonomische Griff sorgt für Komfort, und das Gerät eignet sich für Gesicht und Kopf. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wird oft gelobt. Nachteile sind der schwache Motor bei dickem Haar, die lange Ladezeit und ein weniger glattes Ergebnis als bei teureren Modellen. Während des Ladevorgangs kann das Gerät nicht verwendet werden. Insgesamt eine solide Wahl für Basisbedürfnisse.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.

CI can't fault the razor init's own right, but I do miss not having the side trimmer.

Akku ist zu schwach und muss relativ häufig und umständlich nachgeladen werden, die bisherigen Ladegeräte passen nicht. Soviel zur Vereinheitlichung des Lademanagements.
