Der Philips Shaver 1000 Series S1142/02 bietet einen schnellen und sauberen Rasierer mit 27 selbstschärfenden PowerCut Klingen. Das Gerät ist wasserdicht, was den Gebrauch unter der Dusche ermöglicht. Der ergonomische Griff sorgt für komfortables Handling, und die Einbeziehung eines Nasen- und Ohrtrimmers macht es zu einer kompletten Lösung. Allerdings ist die Ladezeit relativ lang, und einige Nutzer erleben weniger Präzision als erwartet. Der Motor kann schwach für dicke Bärte sein. Insgesamt ist es eine gute Wahl für den täglichen Gebrauch, aber es kann nicht mit High-End-Modellen mithalten.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.

CI can't fault the razor init's own right, but I do miss not having the side trimmer.
