Der Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5887/50 wird für sein angenehmes Rasiergefühl, besonders bei empfindlicher Haut, gelobt. Der Akku hält lange und lädt schnell, was im Alltag praktisch ist. Der flexible Scherkopf folgt den Gesichtskonturen gut und das Gerät eignet sich für Nass- und Trockenrasur, sogar unter der Dusche. Nachteile sind die eingeschränkte Nutzbarkeit des Trimmers, der nicht in alle Richtungen fixiert werden kann, sowie das weniger glatte Rasurergebnis im Vergleich zur Klinge. Auch die Tastenanordnung wird manchmal als unpraktisch empfunden und das Abnehmen des Trimmers kann auf Dauer zu Verschleiß führen. Insgesamt ein vielseitiger und benutzerfreundlicher Rasierer, aber wer ein besonders glattes Ergebnis sucht, sollte diese Einschränkungen beachten.

Having finally upgraded from the old 3000 model to the 5000, I have found the new shaver to be a significant improvement. I now get a very smooth shave and takes less time to do so than the previous shaver. The reason I have only given four stars is because of the time it sometimes takes me to fit in the blades after cleaning. The locking of the final piece of a blade in particular can be very time consuming and does not always lock in properly. This may be that I am a "senior citizen" and as time goes on I may hopefully find the refitting easier.

The Razor is fine, but I bought it to replace my ageing 7000 series. I quickly realised that my old one felt much more comfortable in my hands whilst shaving so took the new blades and foils from the new one and put them in my old one - perfect. I'll keep the new one in a drawer just in case! To be fair the integral trimmer on the new one is better, just the ergonomics don't feel right

Im hals bereich bleiben viele kleine lose haare die der rasierer nicht entfernt.Bequem ist er schön.Wird schnell heiss am hals.Nass hab ich noch nicht probiert.Akku hält tage land.
