Der Philips Shaver Series 5000X X5006/00 überzeugt durch sein leichtes, schlankes Design und eine angenehme Handhabung. Die Rasurqualität ist gut, auch bei dichterem Bartwuchs, und der Akku hält lange und lädt schnell per USB. Das Gerät ist komplett wasserdicht und eignet sich für Nass- und Trockenrasur. Nachteile sind der fehlende integrierte Trimmer (separater Aufsatz nötig), kein Ladeadapter oder Reiseetui im Lieferumfang und ein weniger solides Gefühl im Vergleich zu anderen Philips-Rasierern. Der Trimmer arbeitet weniger präzise und klingt etwas klapprig. Insgesamt eine einfache, effektive Wahl für preisbewusste Käufer, wer Wert auf Zubehör oder integrierten Trimmer legt, sollte sich anderweitig umsehen.

It works but no case. There is another same product as this but came with a case. The picture shown shows multiple cases, making me believe a case is included. Why Philips not including a case for all products this size? So right out of the box there is already an inconvenience. I should have bought another shaver product to minimize this inconvenience. Have to really read the box but of course this is an online purchase so can't check to see if a case is included.

Great close shave. However, a few weeks in, I wasn't getting a super close shave. I took the blades out to clean them and hair was wrapped around the blade post, keeping the blades from seating close enough. After I removed the hair on all 3 blades, it works great.

The saver doesn't seem to cut as close as my older Braun did with a dry shave. It dif a little better with a gel cream. It seems like I have to go over the same areas several times.

I'm so glad I bought this as a black Friday deal. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid the full advertised price. I have used Philips products for years and the quality just keeps getting poorer. The heads are to bulky for around the nostril area, to be honest, it is ok for a quick shave for a few hours. Personally I get about three hours before I need to shave again. So not good for a full day.
