Not perfectly smooth. But okay. Have to scrub to get it right. App hard to use, and pretty much pointless. Just a gimmick.

I have used Philips Norelco's for a good 40+ years. Great Product, and this i9000 shaver was exceptional. Of course, on my try, I couldn't keep the light senser green most of the time during the shave (~46%). I'll get it right, I'm sure soon. The only drawback was no USB Charger came with the package. Minor detail, I know, but I didn't have one the first day.

Overall, the shaver is great, the only thing that is definitely needed is longer battery life. The shaver discharges much faster than all of Philips other shavers. But, the shave bar none is the best

Very sharp Cutting, but, much heavier than previous models. First time i have ever had a "pinch skin" bruise.Will go back to older models..too much bulk when traveling.

The actual razor is great and gives me better shave than the Panasonic and Braun I've had in the past. Also appreciate the extended warranty up to 7 years. However, the charging base stopped working after only charging once, so within a week. Tried to get it replaced via warranty but was told the part isn't available and the only way to get it replaced is for me to send the shaver and charger back to the manufacturer for them to analyze and issue a possible replacement. Considering I only had this shaver for one week before the charging base stopped working, I expected a more convenient option than me not having the shaver for about two+ weeks. So for now, I have to use the cable to charge instead of being able to use the charging base which is unacceptable for their top of the line shaver.
