Das Kärcher WRE 18-55 Battery Set eignet sich ideal zur Entfernung von Moos und Unkraut auf Terrassen und Wegen, ohne sich bücken zu müssen. Das ergonomische Design und der Teleskopstiel sorgen für komfortables Arbeiten. Die Bürste lässt sich schnell und werkzeuglos wechseln, und der kabellose Betrieb bietet viel Bewegungsfreiheit. Die Akkulaufzeit ist jedoch auf etwa 15 Minuten begrenzt, sodass größere Flächen in mehreren Durchgängen bearbeitet werden müssen. In schmalen Fugen ist das Gerät weniger effektiv, und die Nylonbürste nutzt sich schnell ab, was Mikroplastik verursacht. Ersatzbürsten sind zudem relativ teuer. Insgesamt eine benutzerfreundliche Lösung für oberflächliches Unkraut, aber mit den genannten Nachteilen.

Das Grün (Unkraut und Moos) wird oberhalb der Pflasterung gut entfernt, jedoch nutzen die Kunststoffnadeln sehr schnell ab (je nach Verunreinigung). Hier sollte man eine andere Bestückung der Bürste vornehmen.

Absolute load of rubbish. Broke within seconds on very small and light weeds. Sent back for a full refund.

Being a regular purchaser of Kärcher products, I ignored the reviews hoping that the usual performance of Kärcher products would shine through. How wrong I was. It was very easy to put together and the usual quality was there to see. But first use, the Bristle strip snapped within 10 seconds. Luckily there was a spare so after fitting it, got down to trying to remove some weeds from my driveway. I gave up after 10 minutes use. It could not touch the weeds that I felt were laughing at me. The machine is definitely not fit for purpose. It’s such a shame as I now will question any future purchases of Kärcher products. Avoid.
