Marmot Women's Precip Eco Jacket damen hardshelljacke

I have bought this jacket twice, both XL in Wild Rose. I have lived the color, the fit, the pit zips, and the draw cords on the hood. It is fully waterproof. HOWEVER, within two years of owning, the inner waterproof lining begins to peel and flake out of the jacket, especially around the cuffs and seams. Once the peeling starts it does not stop, leaving bits of white lining all over, and causing the places the lining has fallen out to no longer be waterproof. I thought it might be a fluke with the first jacket, but the exact same happened with the second jacket I purchased as well. For a cheaper jacket, I probably wouldn’t mind, but for the price of the jacket, I expected it to last longer.

This jacket has been nothing short of amazing! I took it for a backpacking journey in Alaska and not one single tear and kept me dry the whole rainy way. It is very light and has ventilated armpits that keep you from sweating. The color is very nice as well and pops in a lot of my photos. I was able to attract a wild marmot up in the glaciers as well

Very happy with my purchase. I looked at several different brands and narrowed in on Marmot and then oscillated between a couple different jackets.
