I have this processor in an HP Z620. I'm running Windows 2012 and Hyper-V with 3 VMs. I usually have 2 VMs running at all times and this proc doesn't skip a beat. I tried to beat it up with some video encoding, code compiling and it just grinned, slapped me with the backside of it's large, muscular hand and said, "Is that all you got, punk?"

If you have the money please do this life long computer geek (who still rocks a Pentium processor) a favor and buy this! Intel is a wonderful company with great products and this chip is no exception. Being someone who struggles just get by I'd be fooling myself to believe I'll ever be able to afford this. As for those of you who can though be proud of your success and enjoy the fruits of your labor, you've earned it! And maybe one day I will have to
