If you have issue with an error being recovered and being blame on the CPU. Check your ram latencies.

Exactly what I needed. Packaging wasn't great but this chip is getting harder to find brand new.

Both processors were packed and shipped quickly. The workstation I built is in tip top order aside from not supporting Hyper Threading or turbo-boost technology. Again it is what it is... I personally would not have choose these processors for myself. It is a budget but sufficient AutoCAD workstation for one of my clients that they specified.

I bought a board which I love, but has one snag, it errors out unless both CPU slots are full and needs someone to hit F2 without a way to bypass. That little annoyance has made me want to fill that vacant slot for a year now. I keep waiting for it to drop in price a bit. It hasn't. Still, no complaints. It runs some complicated VT experiments very well. All the OS work great simultaneously maxing out their little slice of the processor.
