Using two of these in a multipurpose workstation to do all kinds of very processor intensive tasks. The system is will be doing high-def video editing, audio production, 3d modeling and flow/stress simulations. I just got it up and running and haven't started working on any intense projects yet so I can't comment on what it is really capable of. System got a 1565 CPU rating in Cinebench Designed a custom water cooling loop that keeps the processors below 36*C at full load. According to a few cpu monitoring applications my clock does't seem to ever drop below 2.9GHz even with the system fully loaded. Doing basic tasks I run between 3.1 and 3GHz. Seems to work well with 2 16gb sticks of KVR16R11D4/16I Kingston 1600 ECC RDIMM. Didn't like anything non-ecc but could be a motherboard issue too.

I had been using higher end Core CPUs for home lab VMWare white boxes, but glad I finally took the plunge and went with Xeons this time around.
