I checked the warranty in the HP website and the cover has been started half year ago and hence, only a half year left.

The pen works great when we got it. When I ordered the pen it said it arrived 3 weeks before I actually got it. There was no communication from the postal company or the Amazon website. For a pricey item I was angry that the tracking status was extremely wrong.
