Only problem to date is that turning the volume knob now results in some static noise. It's not loud, it is annoying and reflects on the quality of components used. I've not yet looked to see if I can open and clean the contacts. Other than this annoyance, the speakers are not a bad budget speaker option.

I don't remember how much I bought these for, but after years of putting up with them it probably wasn't worth it. Even at the current price there are better options. The dynamic range isn't very good and the subwoofer is also not very punchy.

Not as loud as i wpuld like. Good for small room or shop.

I am an audiophile: I love designing speakers for home and instrument use. I bought this for my bedroom TV, best $50 I've ever spent on just about anything.You will need a 3.5mm female to RCA plug converter, and the volume control is manual. If you can handle those two things what this will do for really any stand alone TV with Blu-ray/DVD/ Cable set up. Is just amazing for the price. Yes there is always bigger and better, but this does big things in small spaces. Edifier makes some very nice studio monitors and much bigger more powerful home audio products; for large rooms and people that have to wake the neighbors.But if you want much better sound for a very reasonable price. This system is awesome .

Die Soundanlage kam pünktlich an und nach kinderleichten Aufbau/Anschluss wurde sie gleich getestet :-b Satter Sound ohne kratzen und knacken perfekt. Es ist zwar eine kleine Anlage aber in ihr steckt ganz schön Power
