The shredder works really well once you can get the shredder tray closed properly. It's so temperamental that even vibration turns it off or when tray gets to half full the weight of the shredded paper pulls the door slightly open and the sensor breaks contact and the machine stops. For a product costing over £200 this is not great. It's great having a video that tells you to ensure the contact is made, but if the product itself has such a temperamental design then it's a fat lot of good.

Gute Qualität, schreddert auch größere Mengen Papier. CDs werden ohne Mühe zerkleinert.

3 preiswerte Schredder bis 50 EUR habe ich zur Hölle befördert und dabei unendlich lange wenige Blätter eingegeben, die sich dann auch noch verhinderten... Der Kauf dieses Gerätes vor 5 Jahren hat dem ein Ende bereitet. 20 Blatt gehen locker durch. Kein Stau oder Schrägeinzug. Sehr schnell und leise. Keine Fehler, große Sicherheit. Jeder Euro ist bestens angelegt. VOLLE EMPFEHLUNG.

I purchased this shredder as a replacement for an almost identical machine which must have been 10 to 15 years old that had given up after a hard life. This upgraded version has some nice improvements on it over its predecessor such as castor wheels it is a quite heavy duty machine but also small tidy and compact. It performs far better than the old one and also destroys cd discs credit cards as well as regular paper. Also supplied is a small bottle of oil to lubricate the cutters when emptying the shredding,, this is available via amazon but there's enough to get you going. This machine I have dated to see how many years service it will provide us with.
