Tiffen 77MM CIRCULAR POLARIZER Filter

This took ages to get here and when it finally did there is not seal on the package or shrink wrap meaning it could easily have been opened before. After inspecting it was absolutely covered in dust and had tiny scratches on it. Not sure if this was amazon or Tiffen but I will never buy any Tiffen products again, really poor quality control and packaging.

the pictures came out dull and less crisp than with w out the filter.

Maybe my fingers are too big but thing to adjust this filter was very difficult. I also had a lot of trouble getting this filter off my lens because again it is so thin there is little or no difference between the adjustment ring and the thread ring.

For field work we often use screw-in filters with our Sam Yang lenses so we dont have to carry a matte box. The 77mm size fits most of the lenses (20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 135mm). Tiffen always makes good quality filters at a reasonable price and unlike the cheap plastic filters, this one does the job well and will last.

really gives a nice edge to my images, there is some Vignette But its easy to fix in post or by zooming in the lens/slightly
