D-Link Dwa-182 Usb-adapter

Product discontinued by manufacture. Latest drivers are from 2018. Would not connect to WiFi.

For me, this item did not function at all and appears to be extremely unsafe. After 5 minutes or so connected to a usb 3.0 extender hub connected to my iPad, the d-link adapter got EXTREMELY hot - too hot to touch, and hot enough that it melted its’ own label. Either my unit was dangerously defective, or the unit is a dangerously unsafe design. I have no doubt that leaving this connected would at best have destroyed my equipment and at worst have caused a fire. This urgently needs to be looked in to.

I have been using them for years. As long as you have a USB port, you can extend the range of your, computers, TV, etc. and they are transportable to new equipment.

I have used quite a few D Link products in the past and all have been good quality so when i saw this I thought I got to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed as it performs great. Of course people are going to get different results depending on there connection but I like it and its very compact.
