Trendnet TK 803R - KVM-Switch - 8 Anschlüsse - an Rack montierbar

When one port went dead on my 4-port Trendnet, I upgraded to 8 with this one. Don't know which 4-port Trendnet KVM the other reviewer had, but my old cables work fine at least with the video and USB. Mine was a KT-423, which also has PS/2 capability at computer end. Haven't tried that since it's not a listed feature and I no longer need it.

i don't leave anything less than a 2star unless the product is absolutely nonfunctional. If the product really wow me, I will indicate as such.

If you need OSD (on screen display) functionality, get the TK-804R instead. If you need low cost reliable VGA KVM switching, this is the unit to get.

It would be nice if it was a DVI instead of D-SUB, and also if it includes audio switching. But so far I have yet to find a KVM that is 8+ port, DVI and Audio with USB switching.

Trendnet support is actually quite good. They offered to do an advance replacement for me, free of charge. They said I should have the new unit in 8 to 10 business days. Not too shabby considering it's only a $100 KVM.
