I just receive a new item but Rev 1. There has since been a Rev 1.2 and then a Rev 1.20. WHy am I getting old hardware? I need a new version, or disclose that an old version will be sent... ***UPDATE 2/12/2020 manufacture replied to my inquiry to them about this issue and this was their reply: Two versions have no difference on hardware performance. The version depends on local sales , we are not sure how to assure a V1.20.

I bought this switch from Microcenter before finding it on Amazon for $16 cheaper the next day. I then bought one from Amazon with plans to return the other one. Ports 2 and 12 did not transmit internet; didn't bother checking the other ports. They lit up and tested fine with a tester, just didn't actually transmit data. I opened the identical one from Microcenter and all of the ports functioned perfectly. Simple return at my local Whole Foods, no complaints there. Just be aware that this product can be faulty.

TPLink website lists hardware version 1.20 as the most recent hardware version available - What I received from this seller was hardware version 1.0. :( Considering concerns regarding cyber and having the most updated versions to protect networks - I was surprised that older hardware versions are being shipped. Not happy - But stuck with a situation were I have to get this installed. :(
