Excellent build quality. This switch doesn't have 'bottleneck' issues. Throughput speeds are at the max. You can load the network on all the ports and it still won't slow down.

opened it up plug in power and attached to router, now both computers are running at 1 gig, not at the same time of course. Comcast Router and no problems. currently running two desk tops one laptop and security cameras. All function perfectly and at better speeds.

Great device when you have several devices in a group (such as a TV, blue ray player, amp/receiver, and fire stick) that require access to the internet but only one Ethernet connection. No set up required. Just plug in the Ethernet cables into the switch and the switch into 110 AC power.

Use it to split the interwebs signal to the kids computers (5 of them). Helps them do their eLearning (and gaming) as it allows for the full utilization of our 400GB interweb speed instead of like 20GB via wifi. Plugged it in and it worked instantly. Wire out from the router (currently Comcast), wire into the Linksys Switch, multiple wires out to the computers, easy. Used a combo of Cat 5 and Cat 6 calbes I had on hand, no issues.

Works perfect to address the mess of cables and lack of available Ethernet ports on my router. Used this when I decided to buy my own router combined with the Eero wireless mesh network and it cleaned the connections, expanded my available ports without noticeable drop in bandwidth/throughput.
