Asus Rog Strix 1000w 3.1 80 Plus Platinium Modulares Netzteil

The ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum PSU has been nothing short of amazing in my setup. Right out of the box, it feels solid and premium, with a sleek brushed metal finish and modular cables that make installation super easy. I’m running it with an RTX 5070 Ti and it’s handled everything flawlessly—no coil whine, no weird power fluctuations, just smooth and stable performance. The fan is practically silent, and with 0dB mode, it doesn’t even spin up unless my system is under heavy load (500W+). It’s one of those things you just install and forget about because it works that well. Efficiency-wise, it’s 80 Plus Platinum rated, so it keeps power draw low and doesn’t pump out unnecessary heat. Honestly, if you’re after a high-quality, quiet, and future-proof PSU, this one is a no-brainer, especially at this price point. The new series Asus Strix 1000w series ATX 3.1 are absolutely amazing. Cables are great nice and easily bending. Easy installation and safer functions having extra 3 purple pins for extra security of your expensive gpu. Overclokers provider quick next day delivery!

All cables are sleeved and seem very flexible - I use a Fractal Torrent case which has a top mounted PSU, but cables were all long enough to reach with some extra headroom. Uses the more recent 12v-2x6 (H++) connector which seems to connect securely (actually seemed quite tough to remove when I tried wiggling/pulling it). Some other reviews online mention a noisy fan but I can't say I've heard anything annoying from it.

I wanted an 80+ Platinum power supply with enough PCI connectors for devices and this fit the bill well. Since testing the power supply and stress testing the new PC, it's working great. It's silent (fan does not spin) until it's under a considerable load. Very pleased. My only minor complaint is that, although a very nice quality, there is no sleeve around or combs on the cables so they sort of flop around like spaghetti.

I wanted an 80+ Platinum power supply and this fit the bill. Since setting it up, it's been silent except when under high load and it's got plenty of connectors at the back for components. Cables are nice and high quality but would benefit from included cable combs or sleeving.
