Switch has completely stopped passing traffic of any sort. Tested with various copper and fiber transceivers and cables with no luck. Now to hope that Qnap has the kind of service I hope they have and that I can get a replacement asap.

It works as advertised. All RJ-45 Copper and SFP+ ports work. Good for home or small business with moderate network demands. Pros: Small compact desktop form factor size Good price for 8 Shared SFP+ / RJ-45 Ports and 4 SFP+ Ports Quiet and cool Support 9K Jumbo Frames Works with inexpensive DAC and cheap CAT6 cables Max thoughput of 240Gbps (20Gbs/port) - Not sure how possible but was able to push 1GB/s (~10Gbs) between PCs Good for lab environment Cons: Unmanaged Device - Known limitation so no Link Aggregation of ports

This device simply stopped working after very light use. I apply power, hear the fan, but no lights on the front panel. I'm conveniently outside the return window and QNAP support can only replace the unit. This is no good for me. I purchased this switch to accompany their TS-431XeU NAS, which also failed in less than 1 day. I should have heeded the reviews. I purchased a pair of their Thunderbolt 3 to 10GbE adapters. How long will those last? I have no choice but to stay away from QNAP products and go with more reputable brands.

Easy to implement and inexpensive switch with both SFP and RJ45 connectors. Super fast connection to my server. Love it!

Awesome switch, speeds are fantastic and the combo ports are great. I just used this to upgrade my entire home network with various other switches to 10GBit. I was worried about it not getting me full 10GBit speeds since my house is wired Cat 5e 350MHZ cable but I plugged it in, it showed 10GBit link right off the bat and it achieves full 10GBit speeds over a 55 foot Cat 5e run. Don't let people talk you into needing Cat 6a or 7 for those speeds, if your runs from main box to your rooms are fairly short and you have a quality Cat 5e cable you should be good to go.
