the tire wouldn't seat on the rim. It wobbled when I tried to ride it, I had to return it and bought another brand of tire that works great.

I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 classic and I carry about 40 pounds in my saddle bags occasionally. I put this tire on last year and it has gone bald in the center. ~~ Before the haters make obvious comment about air pressure~~ If I dropped my pressure down I would get a "lope" or hop in my rear around 75+MPH - Yes tire was balanced. The choice was more shoulder and get a ride that was rough on the nerves or keep it aired up for a smooth ride. Don't get me wrong... It held well on the corners in the mountains and even when I hit the wet season it was good on traction there as well. I just wish it could have lasted more than 1600 +/- miles. I don't ride too aggressively and it's mostly highway. Maybe others will have better luck. Keep safe out there and keep the chrome up and the rubber down.

After looking elsewhere for this tire size I ended up making this purcahase at a lower cost and I am pleased with the result

Well, they are tires. What else can I say? Treads are deep and they look great on my motorcycle!

I replaced the stock tires on my Kawasaki vulcan 500 with D404. No complaints, I know these aren't for heavier bikes but my bike is 440 pounds wet so it's not an issue. Grip is great right away. I just got the front done and I pulled out of the shop and had to do almost a full lock turn to turn left onto the road and it held on a brand new tire. I definitely feel better leaning on these than the worn out stock tires and I like how the front doesn't wander because the tread isn't in a line. Anyway, I know people say these only go 9000 miles max. I don't really care, that's the reason they grip well and are cheap. They aren't hard. They were as cheap as Chinese tires.
