When I bought my new VTX 1800 it came with these tires on the bike. I have 12349 miles on the tires and it is time to replace them. Looked at other tires and I see reviews that say the tires have a short life span (7k-9k miles). I take my VTX all over and drive it anywhere (mountain road, gravel roads, highway, DC area beltway). I haven't had any issue with this tire on my fully dressed VTX1800 honda. I keep the tire pressure at the recommended level and ride normal to a little aggressive and most of the time with a passenger (combined weight of 375 with cargo). Some of the cheaper tires on this bike will not hold up as well 7k-9k will be about all you will get. This comes from others that I know of with the same bike.
