It's been a long time since I've had to RMA a MB. Two week turnaround is a killer. But that's what you get for choosing ground shipping.

I recently bought a Supermicro 2U rackmount chassis to set up a home server, and was trying to get by with a leftover gaming mobo. Finally gave up and got a proper server mobo. The IPMI alone made it worth it, plus all the screaming fans have now been tamed by having proper controls on them. The Intel "fakeRAID" BIOS option is the same you find on most gaming mobos these days, and while Windows is perfectly fine with that, Ubuntu doesn't work with it at all. Not a problem, just something to be aware of if you're planning on a Ubuntu installation.
