Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER Motherboard

Contrary to several reviews I have read elsewhere, I have had no issues with the motherboard at all. I initially had a few hangs because I had mixed memory speeds: 32Gb of 6000 and 32GB of 6200 memory. I removed the slower memory and the system has been rock steady since I installed it. So long as you don’t need 40 Gbps USB and the latest and greatest audio codec, it’s a great sub-$500 option for Zen 4.

Bought this on release. Had a few problems with Expo initially but BIOS updates seem to have fixed this. The board and BIOS are fine (the board is built like a tank), but the Windows software has a lot of missing functionality, for example the fan control has fewer options than the BIOS. It is also a buggy mess that repeatdly crashes when changing settings. There are several different bits with no clear explanation of most of them. For some reason keeps trying to install Norton Crapware as part of the tools suite. Expected much better from a fairly premium board.
