Asus Prime X299-A II, Intel, LGA 2066 (Socket R4), Intel Core X-Serie, LGA 2066, DDR4-SDRAM, 256 GB

I got lucky that they had this board in stock, no one has cared about x299 in years. Board works great, should've probably replaced the old one sooner.

I try to always go for Asus motherboards when there is the option as I have never had an issue with them. They never fail on me and never come defective. I used this board in a client's build and it still runs to this day with no issue. Always Go For Asus!

Unable to find DDR5 memory I populated with i9-10920X 128GB Stable with 4 VM's and RDP to others. 3-M.2 slots and 8/6 usable Sata6. During chip shortage this is a great long lasting box.

I've used previous versions of this Motherboard, this one, ASUS Prime X299-A-II is another in a really good line. There are numerous features, well laid out to find everything, heat dissipation is really good I've never had an issue with overheating. I should mention I am not an overclocker, I use this for business and don't want to deal with overclocking issues at a business, we need reliability and this board offers it. Easy to install, easy to use and tremendous features. I have mated with with Intel i9-10920X CPU, Samsung NVME 980 Pro 1TB HDD, NVidia RTX4000 Graphics Card, Noctua NH-U12s CPU Fan, in a Fractal Define 7 Case. I'm adding several other HDD's in a RAID for my data.

I upgraded from X99 to this X299 MB and am happy with the purchase. I bought this MB with Intel i9 10920X 12 Cores, 48 PCIe Lanes CPU. The VRM is good and handled over clocking all cores to 4.7GHz 24/7 without any issues. It has many AIO and Fan headers, so connecting 5 fans, 280mm AIO to keep CPU temperature and inside the case cool. Three M.2, Eight SATA ports, 2x 8pin CPU power connectors, included M.2 screw. Bios setting is straight forward, either Easy mode or Advance mode, over clocking CPU, and memory. Asus made a good quality motherboard and very easy BIOS settings. Video rendering, encoding, Photo editing and gaming at 2K are not a problems.
