1st of all this was delivered by DPD with the top corned of the box damaged and the same top corner was soaking wet, it had been sunny all day. There is 1 dead pixel in about 1 in down from the top and about 5 inches in from the right, so yes it's noticeable and annoying. Furthermore the blacks are really poor, right across the bottom of the screen there bit like a light bleed but I call it more of a bloom, it's really noticeable in dark games of something with a dark back ground. I also have a cheaper AOC monitor which is superior to this, it also a VA 240 htz. I thought this would be an upgrade it's not. My AOC has no light bloom/bleed no dead pixels the colours appear better and the image shaper. Really poor purchase in comparison to my AOC which was a significant amount cheaper, will contact Scan on Monday to see what they say
