Shuts off randomly!

Shuts off randomly for a second or two! VERY annoying! I've tried everything to fix it. Different cables, hdmi, display port, different PCs, my macbook, NOTHING stops it so it's definitely some kind of firmware / hardware issue. Look around, tons of people have this same issue. If you like your monitor turning off mid game, then this is the one for you. Do not buy it. For real. Even if it didn't have this shutoff issue, it's entirely too expensive and has terrible banding.

Horrible for gaming

Worked good for the first week or two... The 480hz 1920x1080 is horrible your screen is so fuzzy you can't read desktop titles.. I got this for gaming but at 480hz its unplayable. 3840x2160 244hz is good when it works. Every time I boot my computer up the monitor flashes white with static then I have to unplug the monitor and plug it back in and it works. Then the reticle option doesn't work half the time. The buttons on the back of the monitor doesn't work half the time too. So all in all... be prepared to unplug this thing and plug it in EVERY SINGLE TIME you boot your pc up or boot up a full screen game.

Great monitor but mine had a minor defect

It's a really good monitor, the build quality, bezels, and overall look is probably my favorite of all the oleds. Which is why it's a shame I had to return mine because it came with a slight blue tint on the left side of the monitor when showing white, which is really distracting when web browsing. I wish it was a bit brighter but I think that's just an OLED limitation for now, so I just dim my lights and it looks great. The matte finish is actually semi-glossy and looks quite good and should not be as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The 1080p 480hz mode is cool but I didn't ever use it because 1080p just looks awful at 32'' I picked up a MSI MAG321UPX instead which I'm happy with as well. I would say a glossy/qd-oled screen does look or feel more vibrant, but it's not a big difference. Between the two I actually prefer the LG. Too bad they're out of stock when I tried to exchange.

Turns on when it wants to!

Purchased this monitor about a year ago+. The monitor frequently decides not to turn on and has a mind of its own. It’s now a $1300 paper weight as I use my $200 hyperx monitor from 5+ years ago. As I’m writing this on my phone at my desk the monitor has turned on for roughly 20 seconds then goes black once again. It’s almost like the screen needs 15 minutes to warm up…. Then when used just goes awall flickering on the verge of giving me seizures. Disappointed in this purchase and LG for producing a product that should be plug and play. As a tech savvy person I’ve tried everything to make it work and can confirm this is not the monitor you want to buy if you want a monitor that works as advertised.if I could give 0 stars I would.
