This is a TERRIBLE OLED with one massive defect that Dell support refuses to acknowledge. The fan on the back of the monitor spools up and down for up to 2 hours up to 45db every single time it's powered on. Dell support states the fan's normal operating sound range for this monitor is up to 35db. I sent them a graph showing the fans are spinning at full blast but they refuse to acknowledge the problem. This monitor is louder than my computer at load. It sucks.

I am no expert in describing specifics as to why the monitor is as great as it is, but it is just that, a great monitor. I was previously using a lower end monitor and it did it's job, but after using this one on the first day I right away noticed a difference. I've been missing out on the highest of quality on the games I play. The color detail in dark and bright scenery blows me away. I only wish I had purchased this much sooner.
