Blendtec - Total Blender Black - Der automatische und intuitive Mixer mit 10-stufiger Tastensteuerung + Pulse

The Blendtec Total Blender Classic is excellent for multi-purpose use. It's fantastic for blending fibrous ingredients in soups and smoothies and has no problem crushing ice. You can use it to hot blend and heat ingredients with its 'Hot Soup' mode. However, it's not the best for small batches since they tend to splash around the jar. It's time-consuming to use for thicker recipes like nut butter. Unfortunately, it's also very loud compared to similar blenders.

Well I have been able to try a Vitamix, Ninja Professional and a Blendtec. From my usage and a bang per buck this Blendtec is where it is at. This thing works very well. The blade configuration works great. It sucks in the matter in the jar and the programs on the motor compensate for the cavitation that happens when blending thicker foods. I usually make protein shakes and process fruits and veggies for meal prep. Works really well for salsas and making your own marinades. Ease of use and cleaning-4/5 the blade style is much easier to clean and not cut up sponges Power-5/5 Noise-2/5 this thing is loud Jar and lid- 5/5 great design, lid stays on and the small opening allows me to feed ice cubes, frozen fruit and cubed food easily as it blends

This is our second classic. The first one lasted about 10 yrs with daily use. We did end up getting a second pitcher for the first one because the bearing in the bottom of the jar started to leak. BIG TIP HERE - do not put your pitcher in the dishwasher. I'm convinced the bearing started leaking becuase we had done that several times. A friend of ours that has a Blendtec had the exact same thing happen to theirs. We will not do that again. Having not used the other competitor brand blenders in this market, I won't attempt to compare. I just know we love our Blendtec enough that we bought another one when the first finally started to go. The motor started sounding bad and giving off that "I'm going to die" smell that all blenders seems to give off right before they burn up.

I purchased this blender as a replacement to my original that finally died (after about 8 years). I've always loved Blendtec's as they are more aesthetically pleasing compared to Vitamix, they fit under the counter better, their warranty is longer. Overall, they're great. But, I received this order and the FourSide Jar that comes with this model leaked thru the bottom. Apparently its not airtight where the metal mechanism under the jar connects to the blender base because each time I've used it more liquid spews thru the bottom of the jar onto the base of the blender (and all over the bottom of the jar). I've read this in other reviews online but thought it was just a fluke....when, maybe, it is an actual defect/issue in the manufacturing? Requested a replacement for this jar so we will see if I experience the same problem.

This blender is the "Best Ever" that I have used in over 50 years. I love it, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make healthy frozen drinks at home. Worth every penny believe me!
