Der DJI Mini 2 Intelligent Flight Battery ist für seine lange Flugzeit bekannt: bis zu rund 31 Minuten unter Idealbedingungen, wobei viele Nutzer in der Praxis eher 23 bis 26 Minuten pro Ladung erreichen. Die integrierte Elektronik überwacht Spannung, Temperatur und Ladezyklen und zeigt den Status direkt in der DJI Fly-App an, was die Flugplanung einfacher und sicherer macht. Ein wichtiger Pluspunkt ist die automatische Entladefunktion, die den Akku nach einigen Tagen Lagerung leicht entlädt, um Aufblähen und Verschleiß zu verringern. Dem gegenüber stehen der relativ hohe Preis und die Tatsache, dass der Akku nur in der Mini 2 verwendet werden kann, was einen späteren Drohnenwechsel weniger flexibel macht. Für alle, die länger fliegen möchten und Wert auf Zuverlässigkeit und Sicherheit legen, ist ein zusätzlicher Originalakku dennoch für viele Käufer die Investition wert.
