Nach dem empfohlenen "ausbrennen" u. anschließendem säubern habe ich mich mit einer Tasse Kaffee herangetastet. Die Bedienung ist einfach, die Ergebnisse gut. Ich empfinde den vergitterten Quarzgrill optimal hygienisch. Das Drehelement auf dem der Glasteller ruht läßt sich nicht herausnehmen was ich als Manko empfinde. Die Mikrowelle läuft abgenehm ruhig wird aber ca. alle 10 Sekunden von einem Knacken begleitet (bei höherer Leistung) was bei diesem Modell normal ist - wenn auch nicht angenehm. Den Grill habe ich noch nicht (außer beim ausbrennen) in Aktion erlebt, aber er ist vielversprechend. Wenn man auf eine Uhr verzichten kann und das Gerät an einem gut ausgeleuchteten Platz aufstellt sollte man damit zufrieden sein. Das Teil ist stylisch aber der schwarze Grundton frisst die Zahlen u. Symbole der Einstellungen auf.

Buy something else. The heating power is very poor whn compared to similar sised 800W ovens. Its also very poor value for money. I made the mistake of choosing AEG for my new kitchen appliances. I was always really impressed with the quality of my old AEG stuff. Now its just overpriced and crappy. AEG is trading on a name not on its good heritage.

Even me, in a dim morning kitchen, can’t see where the buttons are. They should illuminate when you open the door and put food in, so you can see where the buttons are. I am not blind or partially sighted, but I can only imagine how utterly useless the design is without any feeling points on the panel to feel where any of the buttons are? I have to turn several lights on now for the dark icons where the buttons are can be seen. Previous microwave - you could clearly see the buttons. How annoying!!! Are products made with older people, visibly challenged users in mind?

For the first time in my life a microwave has died, luckily it happened right before the end of the warranty, so it’s hopefully getting fixed for free. I would never buy anything from this brand again given this awful experience.
