Rode PG1 Blitzschuhgriff

Den Handgriff verwende ich am Rode Videomic Pro (VMP) und der Rode Boompole, manchmal auch an einem Mikrofonstativ. Wirklich als Handgriff habe ich das Produkt noch nicht verwendet. Er liegt aber relativ leicht und angenehm in der Hand. Die Verarbeitung geht in Ordnung, auch wenn diese etwas billig wirkt (Blitzschuhhalterung aus Kunststoff: bisher keine Probleme mit dem VMP). Das 3/8" Gewinde ist immerhin aus Metall. Es ist mir aber wichtiger, das der Handgriff so leicht wie möglich ist und nicht massiv (vor allem an der Boompole). Der Griff ist ziemlich praktisch, es lässt sich nämlich ein Verlängerungskabel perfekt an der offenen Seite durchführen, und zwar so, dass das Ende vom Verlängerungskabel (z.B. pro snake 20092) im oberen Bereich des Griffes stecken bleibt und somit den Stecker vom VMP am lösen hindert.

I didn't expect this grip to actually be comfortable in my hand. Most of these all-plastic pistol grips are just uncomfortable to hold. This RDE Pistol Grip is the exception! I found this comfortable to hold, my hand doesn't get sore or have any fatigue after using it. A truly GREAT feature is the track it has for the mic cable. The cable lays perfectly inside the track and you don't have to have to awkwardly draped over your wrist. And, of course, the screw-mount is useful too. Great price for a simple yet effective piece of equipment.

Works great, easy to use and gives me the ability to use my mic in different ways. Doesn't always have to me camera mounted.

It has great balanced weight, not to heavy just right.
