Ich habe mir diesen Stick eigentlich nur gekauft, da ich gern Formel 1 schaue. Da der deutsche Staat unfähig ist, die Rennen im FreeTV auszustrahlen, bin ich auf ORF, ServusTV und SRF angewiesen. Diese Sender kann man aber nur mit einer VPN-App schauen, wie Proton VPN. Auf den meisten SmartTV Fernsehern, außer Androidgeräten, lassen sich die VPN-Apps nicht installieren. Mit der VPNApp kann ich das komplette ORF-Programm und SRF-Programm schauen. Das ist für mich ein echter Mehrwert.

Setup was far from a breeze. The remote is very temperamental during the setup phase, more often than not - failing to maintain a link with the dongle. Thinking it was just the device I was trying to use it on, I tried another - and another. Same result. Ended up having to Google troubleshooting steps and after numerous attempts, finally got it working. No more issues since. Whatever you do, don’t unplug it or power it off or you’ll have to battle to get the remote going all over again. Other than the remote issues, the features are seamless and by far, the best I’ve seen yet for an “all in one” place to access all your streaming accounts. Even includes a browser which is easy to use and looks pretty neat on a big screen! I’m using this with a 150” projector screen.
