If you're looking for a static mouse device, this is better than a trackpad or a roller ball mouse — but it may not be the right kind of ergonomic for you.

After spending many hours with this mouse, there are some quirks you need to know. If you have a multiple monitor setup, the mouse will sometimes take off by itself to the edge of the 2nd monitor - especially when going from right to left. Ive tried many adjustment combinations to no avail. Ive submitted a ticket at their support site and received no response. I followed up with an email to them - nothing. So support is nonexistent. However, even with the quirks, I still like this thing. I write books using Adobe InDesign and this roller mouse makes it much more efficient. Hopefully, they will fix these quirks someday.

I was a little apprehensive about spending this much for a mouse. Knowing that B&H has a great return policy, I decided to try it. This thing is really cool. I like it. The mouse is that 6-inch tube on the front edge. You basically roll it a combination of side to side and front to back to move the mouse. Its very intuitive. Its super smooth. In the center of the silver section is the scroll wheel and thats very smooth too. There are 10 different cursor speeds; 600 DPI to 2400 DPI. You have to set the copy/paste keys to PC or MAC. The product highlights say 6 programmable buttons. Thats not accurate. The only programmable button is the double click and you can only change it to a handful of options like middle click, etc. So, the only buttons are the copy, paste, left click, right click, and double click. You can also perform a left click on the 6-inch mouse bar. If you can afford it, get this.
