Osprey Talon 33, Rahmenlos, Oben, Wandern, Bergsteigen, Lange Reise, Kurzer Ausflug, Rot, Männlich, Nylon

So far, so good. I owned a Talon 22 for about 15 years that I used and abused. It finally started falling apart, but asking Osprey for a warranty replacement would have been unethical given the use and abuse. I decided to opt for the Talon 33 instead. It's size allows for heavy day use or a lightweight overnight or two on the trail. While my old Talon 22 had a removable stiff foam back panel, the Talon 33 is much more substantial. It's more of an internal frame pack. 23 pounds carries quite well on my fitness/training walks.

I had an osprey 22 pack and loved it. The only complaint was that it was too small for what I usually carry on day trips since I usually end up carrying for kids and others who come along. The suspension system is great and all the easy reach pockets changed my life. Bonus is that the XF size hip belt pockets can fit a large phone even if it is in a case.

A good bag at a sensible price in the sale. Takes a little while to adjust the pack to its optimum comfort but it is very well thought out.

Great pack, perfect size, great selection of pockets and comfortable for all day intense trekking.

Great rucksack with an extremely comfortable back system. Personally I would prefer a few more separate internal compartments but there is certainly a lot of space inside and you can get loads in there. There is space between the back support and the main compartment for a hydration bladder, with a suspension strap for Osprey’s own “Hydraulics” bladders (pricey). I imagine this could be adapted to support other bladders but it’s not a standard loop or velcro fastening.
