Osprey Aether 55 Rucksack 83 cm

(6'1, 225, M) Have a 20" torso and picked up a large which should fit. Even with all the adjustments you can make to this pack it carries horribly. I had purchased to carry more weight than my ultralight pack, but this pack with 20 pounds feels heavier than my ultralight pack with 30 pounds. Horrible shoulder straps and all around design. Can't get any weight to load onto my hips at all, which is what this pack is supposedly good at. Maybe for very specific body types? Compartment is restrictive and belt pockets basically useless because they don't adjust with the belt making them difficult to access. So many better options these days. I don't really see a case to be made for this pack. Especially at this price point. Heavy pack that was made overly complex with sub par results.

The team at REI spent lots of time with me discussing my needs for my next adventure. They took my measurements and found me exactly what I was looking for. My Osprey 55 is amazing and cannot wait to hit the Camino Se Santiago with my new backpack.

Great comfortable fit for a tall 14 year old to hike with!

Der Osprey Herren Aether 55 überzeugt durch seine Anpassungsfähigkeit und robuste Qualität. In verschiedenen Umgebungen, von Bergtouren bis Stadttrips, bietet er hervorragenden Tragekomfort und einfache Handhabung der Fächer. Kleinere Kritikpunkte sind das etwas hohe Gewicht und die schmale Form.

Guter Rucksack! Sehr umfangreiche Funktionalitäten und guter Sitz, entsprach genau der Beschreibung auf der Website. Den Einsatz im Dschungel konnte ich noch nicht üben.
