I love it and my family much more - it was not bought for that, but connected to an iPad and with a mic, it became a perfect videoke machine - lots of fun, great power for home and small places, meeting rooms, etc... And the fact that it can work on batteries for almost 10 hours after a couple of hours charging is priceless as you can move it around ... PS: Now a suggestion, buy the stand that connects with it in the bottom - will make it even better as the sound will travel further ...

Bought this for my daughter, worked ok... disappointed on lack of volume for size and specs of speaker. Stopped working after 14 months of normal to light use. Don’t waste your money on this

I bought this little guy to use for wedding ceremony audio when I first started out as a wedding DJ. I liked it then because it was cheap, and I could produce sound for ceremonies, even small ones outside. Unfortunately, it's not as loud as I would have hoped, and even when cranked to max volume, it can only do ceremonies of about 100 people before it starts getting lost on the other side of the crowd. But most importantly, about a year and a half after I bought it, the speaker just stopped working. I brought it to a repair guy (who's fixed lots of other equipment for me), and after installing a new battery and looking at the wiring, even he couldn't figure it out! I didn't abuse the speaker at all (except maybe leaving it out in the heat a few times) and it just died. Bottom line: If you want portable sound for anything more than a small, backyard BBQ, do yourself a favor and invest in something about twice the price.
