Don't be fooled by the "latest model" hype. A couple of years ago I bought one of these and it had impressive, huge stereo sound with clear but pounding bass and ringing highs. The latest model? Not so much. There's only one speaker in these balls now and it sounds like it. I searched and searched to buy another one of the same version. In fact I bought a couple of these, trying to find the same model that I bought before, but apparently those are history. So unless you want to spend 100 bucks to turn on and off the lights, I'd go with something cheaper that doesn't make any noise. Like your finger.

Love the Echo. But Kohl's sent us a returned item. They did not care. Bad on them.

The Amazon Echo (4th gen) continues to impress as a smart speaker thanks to Alexa, and this is the best-sounding, most capable design yet – thought we're not 100% sold on the new design.

This is a great addition to our home. It not only keeps us organized, but keeps us entertained, too.
