The 12th-gen Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon continues its reign as the king of business laptops for now. But the gap is definitely narrowing. While there are definitely more powerful alternatives out there, the X1 is one of the few to offer the same level of security, durability and longevity for a relatively reasonable price.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 is a standout business laptop, excelling in performance and portability. Despite minor drawbacks, its lightweight design and robust specifications make it an excellent choice for professionals.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Gen 12) offers a sleek new design, great keyboard, and strong local AI performance, but you’ll have to pay a hefty premium and settle for so-so battery life.

Lenovo has honed this ThinkPad to excellence, but the price is downright silly.

I'm a fan of the build and the form factor but the CPU needs to do much more.
