Der Sony WH-CH520 Zwart bietet eine außergewöhnlich lange Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 50 Stunden und ein komfortables, leichtes Design. Das Klangprofil ist per App anpassbar, und Multipoint-Bluetooth ermöglicht den Wechsel zwischen Geräten. Es fehlt jedoch an aktiver Geräuschunterdrückung und die passive Isolierung ist begrenzt. Die Kopfhörer können nicht per Kabel genutzt werden und sitzen bei Bewegung weniger stabil. Die Höhen wirken manchmal dumpf. Insgesamt eine gute Wahl für Komfort und Akkulaufzeit, weniger für Klangpuristen.
