Well-specified, easy to wear, and with some real sonic talent, the LinkBuds S make sense in a lot of ways. But they’re a rather dispassionate listen, and they have rivals at every turn – not least from Sony itself.

Easy to use and recharge. Storage container is sturdy

Purchased October 2022 and worked perectly for circa 2.5 years. However 1 month ago, Sony did a software update which has caused a battery drain issue on the left earbud, which now dies after 20 minutes. If you google this issue, many owners are impacted and Sony are so far refussing to fix. Please avoid Sony and buy another brand.

Just out of warranty after using this for two years. Sony sent through an update of the software which seems to affect the battery of the left earbud. My left earbud battery now drains within 20 minutes rendering the earbuds useless. Doing some research on the web this seems to be a recurring issue for other users with no fix from Sony I tried every tip from their help site and forums. Earbuds now useless and I'm just hoping they send through a new software update which will rectify this expensive purchase. Purchase with caution.

Good technology as you would expect from Sony with great noise cancelling and sound clarity. I purchased these to fit in ear where other products on the market seem to be getting larger and larger. The fit is great.
