Sennheiser Hd 660s2 Kopfhörer

Bought the Sennheiser HD 660S2 HD 660S2 to use with my DAP. And I must say, I’m amazed at the clarity of the soundstage. I’m hearing parts in music that I’ve not heard before. I highly recommend these headphones.

Purchased on the advice of Paul, Assistant Manager I am still breaking them in, as he described it, which is why I held back from commenting. As a means of delivering analytical detail I have found them very helpful, picking out colour, instrumentation, balance bit never at the expense of the whole sound picture. The sit very cosily over my ears and there is no problem with heat issues. I look forward to going further into my vinyl/CD collection to discover what further aural treats await.

The listening experience is good when connected to the phone, but when connected to an amplifier, they sound much fuller and more dynamic. I am not the one who hooks up to an analyzer and debates the graph curve. How I perceive sounds is determined by my hearing and the sound source that gives them to me. These headphones provide full range, bottom, middle and top, everything is balanced, it's great. They are light and I really don't feel their weight on my head - the earmuffs fit very tightly and that's probably why I don't feel like I'm carrying anything on my head.

Ich höre HiFi Musik normalerweise mit dem fantastischen Sennheiser HD 400 Pro (Studio Referenzkopfhörer), der an Neutralität und Kristallinität nicht zu überbieten ist. Manchmal wünsche ich mir jedoch etwas mehr Bass beim Musikhören, aber ohne, dass die Klarheit verloren geht. Der Bass darf dabei nicht dröhnig werden oder matschig. Bisher haben mich diesbezüglich andere Kopfhörer enttäuscht, zB der HD 490 Pro und auch der wesentlich teurere Focal Clear MG Professional. Der HD 660S2 hält jedoch genau das, was er verspicht, nämlich mehr Sub-Bass, ohne an Klarheit zu verlieren. Dabei ist der Bass trocken, knackig und präzise. Genau so habe ich mir das gewünscht. Einziger Nachteil gegenüber dem 400 Pro ist, dass der 400 Pro noch ein bisschen bequemer ist. Dafür liefert der 660S2 ein symmetrisches 4,4 mm Kabel mit, dass zusammen mit einem passenden Verstärker nochmal einen minimal klarerern Klang und Präzision mitbringt.
