Der Sennheiser HD 400S bietet einen ausgewogenen und klaren Klang, der für seine Preisklasse überzeugt. Das leichte, komfortable Design eignet sich für lange Hörsessions und die faltbare Bauweise ist praktisch für unterwegs. Das abnehmbare Kabel mit Mikrofon und Fernbedienung ist im Alltag nützlich. Die Ohrpolster sind jedoch bei warmem Wetter weniger atmungsaktiv und die Geräuschisolierung ist nur mittelmäßig, was ihn für sehr laute Umgebungen weniger geeignet macht. Der Klang ist nicht extrem raffiniert und die Nutzung eines Equalizers kann die Klangqualität negativ beeinflussen. Wer einen soliden, tragbaren Kopfhörer mit guten Allround-Eigenschaften sucht, trifft hier eine gute Wahl, Audiophile könnten jedoch mehr Detail und Brillanz vermissen.

I wanted to find a good quality headphone which is wired as I didn't want any Bluetooth as I'm conscious about EMF frequency. I'm very satisfied, the sound quality is very good. The fit of the pads around the ear is comfortable as well. The cord length is more than sufficient. I use an extension on the cord end so that it fits into my android phone so that I can play music.

Pro: very good sound quality, especially for the price. Con: the headset can become uncomfortable when worn for an extended period, particularly if you are wearing glasses.

Just perfect for me - I use it for practice on my bass guitar and find it comfortable to wear and with pleasing tone.
